Natalie Both - Softball

The sophomore pitcher tossed a combined 20.1 innings over four games against Whittier and Occidental, posting a 2-0 record while allowing just four earned runs (1.37 ERA) and striking out 26 batters.

After earning All-SCIAC honors as a pitcher in her freshman season, Both has shown off her offensive prowess early in her sophomore campaign. The Phoenix, Ariz. native sparked a comeback rally in the Panthers' 4-3 win over Whittier on Sunday by clubbing a two-run, sixth inning, inside-the-park home run.

On the season, Both is batting .312 (5/16) while leading the team with a .688 slugging percentage. On the mound, she has continued to baffle opposing batters, racking up 40 strikeouts in just 27.1 innings while displaying a miniscule 1.02 ERA (27.1 IP - 4 ER).
