Freshman Michaela Foisy broke Chapman’s single season stolen base record on Saturday, after stealing two bases during the Panthers’ second game of the doubleheader against La Verne. This season, she has successfully stolen 23 of the 25 bases she has attempted. With 23 stolen bases, Foisy ranks third in the SCIAC this season and already ranks seventh all-time at Chapman for career stolen bases.

The infielder from Discovery Bay, Calif., had a .467 batting average last weekend and leads the team with .365 average so far this season. After scoring twice during the doubleheader against Whittier on Friday, she also leads the Panthers with 24 runs.
