Senior Tyler Cook closed out his career with a huge weekend in the SCIAC Tournament, going 9-for-13 in Chapman’s three-game tournament run. The Tustin native hit two home runs, two doubles and eight RBIs to cap off his final season as a Panther. The captain ends his last season with a .431 batting average, the highest on the team and second overall in SCIAC. His eight RBIs bring his total single-season RBI count to 39, ranking him fourth in the SCIAC.

Cook is making his name known in the Chapman record books. His two home runs were the 18th and 19th of his career, ranking him fifth overall in career home runs in Chapman history. The senior also added two doubles this weekend to make his career total doubles 54, the second most in Chapman history. Cook ends his career as a Panther with 639 plate appearances and an overall batting average of .379, the third highest career batting average in Chapman history.
