 On Saturday night, senior linebacker Devin Ray tallied 13 tackles in Chapman University football team's home-opening 19-17 win over Trinity University. The senior led the Panthers in tackles with a career-high 13. He earned 11 solo tackles and a tackle for loss. The Thousand Oaks native started off the game with a huge forced fumble on a third down to prevent the Tigers from scoring a touchdown, forcing Trinity to attempt a field goal. This season Ray leads the team with 18 tackles over the past two games.
