Junior pitcher Tyler Peck helped lead the baseball team to its first SCIAC Tournament Championship in program history this past weekend. He was voted the Most Valuable Player of the tournament after pitching a complete-game shutout against Pomona-Pitzer in which he struck out a career-high 14 batters. In his fifth 10-plus strikeout game of the 2018 season, the Corte Madera native only allowed three hits and earned his seventh win of the season.

Peck’s performance on the mound propelled the Panthers to a second game on Saturday in which they defeated No. 1 La Verne 10-3. Chapman then beat No. 2 Redlands twice on Sunday to claim the title of SCIAC Tournament Champions.
