Sean Augustine, Men's Soccer

Senior Sean Augustine kept a clean sheet for the week in leading the Chapman University men’s soccer team to its first two wins of the season. Augustine wasn’t tested often in the Panthers 1-0 win over the Leopards but answered the call when he was. He made two saves in the match, including one in the final two minutes to help secure the win.

At Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Saturday, Augustine made five saves while the Panthers again won 1-0 on the road. The two SCIAC wins propelled the Panthers back near the top of the standings while the back-to-back shutouts lowered his goals against average to just 0.95 this season.
