Junior Cam Haslam put up big numbers as the Panthers went 1-1 this week with a crucial SCIAC win over Cal Lutheran on Wednesday. The guard put up 29 points against the Kingsmen, draining 5-of-7 from behind the arc and going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line. He also tallied five rebounds, three assists and a steal in a game where he scored 11 consecutive points to give Chapman a 21-point lead.

The Seattle, Wash. native scored 28 points as the Panthers lost to Johnson and Wales of Denver on a buzzer-beater. Haslam led the comeback effort, putting up nine straight points in under 50 seconds to tie the game before the Wildcats hit the last-second shot. He also grabbed two boards to go along with five assists, a steal and a block on the night.
