Freshman running back Marcos Reyes earned his first Athlete of the Week award after helping the Panthers stay undefeated this past weekend during their matchup against the University of Redlands. The rookie led the rushing attack with 102 yards and carried the ball 23 times. The Santa Cruz, Calif. Native also caught one pass for four yards.

Reyes was the first to score in the home game when he finished off the drive with a 12-yard TD run on third down. The final score was 21-18, putting the Panthers in a four-game win streak and moving up in the rankings to No.19 in the nation.
