Wes Hertel, Men's Water Polo

Senior Wes Hertel helped lead the Chapman University men’s water polo team to two home victories this past week, including a big win on Senior Day. The goalkeeper helped his squad beat La Verne on Wednesday night, recording 12 saves and six steals in the 17-14 win. On Saturday’s contest against Cal Lutheran, the Houston, Texas native’s stellar performance in the net led the team to a 13-9 victory. Hertel tallied seven saves and six steals to take home the win. 

Hertel has helped the Panthers to a 7-5 conference ledger. Chapman currently ranks fourth in the conference standings with two matches yet to play.
