Hall of Famer Ed Keswick passes at 97

ORANGE, Calif. – Former Director of Athletics and track & field and cross country head coach Ed Keswick has died at the age of 97. Keswick was inducted into the Chapman Athletics Hall of Fame in 2000.

Keswick first came to Chapman in 1956 as an assistant professor of Physical Education. In a career that spanned 40 years, he coached the track & field and cross country teams as well as taking on the role of Director of Athletics from 1970-73.

As a coach, Keswick coached seven athletes who are now fellow member of the Chapman Athletics Hall of Fame.

Keswick lived in Orange and passed on May 11, 2017.
