Bio
The Panthers' leader and starting catcher under head coach Ralph Welch in the pre-WWII era, Blaine hit .304 during the 1939 season and was elected as president of the Varsity Club the following year. Chapman posted a winning record each year, including a 12-6 mark in '38.
