Bio

Maiben helped Chapman win the Division III national championship as a freshman in 1995. In four years, she led the Panthers to the national championship game three times, earned All-America honors thrice, and was named All-West Region all four years. She was selected to the NCAA All-Tournament Team three times and was named to the NCAA Division III 25th Anniversary Team in 2006 alongside teammate Christy Guidorizzi.

She is still Chapman’s all-time leader with 258 hits and still ranks in the top-5 in school history in over 16 statistical categories. She finished her career with a .427 batting average, 19 home runs and 40 stolen bases. You can also find Maiben’s name scattered throughout the NCAA record book as her 30-game hitting streak in 1997 and 80 base hits in 1996 still rank among the best in Division III history, among her many feats.
