Bio

Raquel joined the athletics department in 2014 as Recreational Sports Manager and Sports Information Assistant. At just 21, she became the first female to hold the position in school history. In 2017, she transitioned into a new role as the Business Coordinator for the department. In 2022, she became the Operations Administrator. Raquel earned her bachelor's degree in business from Chapman in 2014 and completed her MBA in 2018.

As an undergrad, she served the Panthers' athletics department in a variety of capacities, including sports information and intramurals assistant, as well as department assistant overseeing work study and payroll. She played on the Chapman softball team from 2011-12 and was an NFCA Scholar-Athlete Award recipient in '11.
