Women's lacrosse again earns academic honors from IWLCA

The Chapman University women’s lacrosse team along with five individuals earned academic distinction from the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association. The Panthers were named an Academic Honor Squad with five upperclassmen earning a spot on the Academic Honor Roll.
Chiang, Ricketts nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year

Chapman University Athletics nominated two accomplished student-athletes for the prestigious NCAA Woman of the Year award – Camille Chiang and Jessica Ricketts. The women’s water polo and women’s lacrosse standouts on the field and in the classroom were two of a record-breaking 619 nominees across all three divisions of the NCAA.
Hall of Famer and former AD Dave Currey passes at 80

Every team over a 3.2, 270 recognized as SCIAC All-Academic

The SCIAC recognized 270 Chapman University student-athletes on its annual All-Academic list. Collectively, Panther student-athletes raised the bar for academic achievement as every team achieved a 3.2 team GPA or better.
Track & field earns team and individual academic honors

The USTFCCCA annually recognizes team academic achievement with All-Academic awards as well as recognizing individual student-athletes for their athletic and academic achievements.
Volleyball earns AVCA academic honors for 14th consecutive year

The Chapman University women’s volleyball team has earned the US Marine Corps Team Academic Award from the American Volleyball Coaches Association for the 14th year in a row. The USMC-AVCA Team Academic Award is an annual recognition of high school and college volleyball teams that maintain a 3.3 team GPA.
Nine individuals, both teams earn ITA academic honors

Both the men’s and women’s Chapman University tennis teams were recognized for outstanding academic achievement by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Additionally, four student-athletes off the men’s team and five off the women’s team earned individual recognition.
Swim & dive teams earn Scholar All-America honors

Both teams and two individuals were recognized as Scholar All-Americans for the Spring of 2023. Both Reid Omilian and Cole Kershner earned the individual honors for academic and athletic success while both team were recognized for their respective academic achievements.

Six student-athletes from the Chapman University women’s golf team were recognized as All-American Scholars by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association. The six qualifiers for the annual academic award account for 75 percent of the roster.
