Weather continues to affect Chapman's outdoor teams

ORANGE, Calif. - Weekend rains washed out Chapman University baseball and softball games Friday and Saturday so here's the latest on when action will resume.

Baseball's SCIAC matchup with defending conference champion Cal Lutheran University on Friday afternoon has been pushed back to Monday at 2:30 p.m., while Saturday's scheduled doubleheader in Thousand Oaks will be played on Sunday at 11 a.m.

Meanwhile, the Panthers' softball team has postponed its SCIAC doubleheader with the University of La Verne on Saturday to a date to be determined. Chapman is also scheduled to host Berry College (Ga.) on Monday in a doubleheader, but those games have been pushed back to Tuesday afternoon to allow time for the field at El Camino Real Park to dry.

The location of Chapman's women's lacrosse game vs. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at 1 p.m. on Saturday has changed to Pomona-Pitzer's turf field.
