Baseball earns ABCA academic distinction

ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University baseball team was recognized for its academic excellence in the 2017-18 academic year. The American Baseball Coaches Association annually honors college and high school teams with the Team Academic Excellence Award.

In order to be recognized for their academic excellence, teams had to maintain above a 3.0 grade point average for the duration of the 2017-18 academic school year. The Panthers achieved an overall team GPA of 3.27, earning the distinction.

Chapman was honored along with 291 other collegiate and high school teams, including 77 NCAA Division III schools.
