Chapman set to host NCAA Regional

ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University baseball team is set to host the NCAA Division III Regional from March 17-19 at Hart Park in Orange, Calif. The Panthers will face off against Whitman College in a best-of-five series held over three days.

Junior Riley Glenn took over, allowing two more runs while striking out five to earn his first win of the season.

Chapman fought from down 5-3 to score five runs in the seventh and eighth innings to win their third game of the season. Five Panthers tallied multiple hits in the comeback effort.

The Blues also played Cal Lutheran and Redlands at the Cactus Classic, dropping both games. Later in the season, Whitman traveled to Southern California to face off against Caltech, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Occidental. The Blues dropped a doubleheader at CMS but beat both Caltech and Occidental to post a final 2-5 record against SCIAC teams this season.
