Langstaff selected to D3Football.com Team of the Week

ORANGE, Calif. – Senior WR Chris Langstaff has been selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week for his record-setting performance in the Chapman University football team’s 28-24 win over Occidental College on Saturday night.

Langstaff broke a 14-year-old school record with an 85-yard punt return for a touchdown in the second quarter against Occidental. He followed that with an 84-yard touchdown reception and finished the game with 11 receptions for 171 yards and a total of 256 all-purpose yards.

This season he leads the team in receptions (44), receiving yards (603), yards per game (86.1), and is tied for first with four touchdowns. Over the last two games, Langstaff is averaging 152 receiving yards per game. With 44 catches, the Anaheim Hills, Calif. native is 20 catches shy of the single-season record.
