Pavlisin earns D3Football All-Region honors

ORANGE, Calif. – Chapman University offensive lineman Jordan Pavlisin has been named to the D3Football.com All-West Region team. The senior starting right guard was honored for the first time in his career after helping the Panther football team to four wins in its final seven games.

A four-year starter on the offensive line, Pavlisin was Chapman's top-rated offensive lineman in 2010 and didn't allow a single sack in nine starts. The Panthers' offense averaged over 134 yards rushing per game, including six consecutive games with 100 or more yards on the ground. Chapman's offensive line also held some of the top-rated defenses in the country – Cal Lutheran, Redlands and Azusa Pacific – to a total of four quarterback sacks, combined.

Pavlisin becomes the first Chapman football player since 2007 (Harrison Dull) to earn All-West Region honors and the first offensive lineman since 2001 (Mark Shafer) to receive the award.

Chapman finished the year with a 4-5 record for the second consecutive season.
