Game Notes:

• After gaining 262 yards last week, highlighted by senior RB Jeremiah McKibbins' 211 yards, the Chapman rushing attack moved into the top 10 nationally in rushing yards/game (277.7)

• Two conference-leading quarterbacks will go head-to-head as Leopards' junior William Livingston, the conference leader in touchdowns (15) matches up against Panthers' senior Michael Lahey, who ranks first in the SCIAC in completion percentage (71.6) and interceptions (1). Lahey's completion percentage ranks No. 2 in the country.

• La Verne's season has been a tale of two sides of the ball. The Leopards rank 16th in the country in total offense (499.5 ypg) while the defense is giving up 507.2 ypg which is fourth-worst in the nation.

• The Panthers have taken seven of the past eight meetings with the Leopards, including the last two matchups by an average of 32 points.

• After moving up one spot to No. 24, the Panthers have earned their highest ranking in the D3football.com poll in program history for the second week in a row.

• After crossing the goal line twice last week on two 68-yard runs, McKibbins sits atop the conference with 10 rushing touchdowns. The senior has doubled the next closest SCIAC running back.

• Chapman has done a good job spreading the wealth in 2014. Thirteen Panthers have scored at least one of Chapman's SCIAC-leading 35 TDs.
