MacIntyre named SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week

ORANGE, Calif. – Senior Jonston MacIntyre has been selected as the SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week after Chapman's 57-14 win over Whittier.

The senior quarterback needed to complete just seven passes to put up 208 yards passing and score a career-high four touchdowns. After starting the game 0-for-2 on the first drive, he completed seven consecutive passes to lead Chapman to a 43-0 lead at halftime.

MacIntyre hit four different receivers for TDs on passes that covered 24 yards, 53 yards, 39 yards and 61 yards. With the efficient game against Whittier, he has completed 63 percent of his passes and more than doubled his touchdown total for the season to seven.

The Panthers take on undefeated Cal Lutheran on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Ernie Chapman Stadium.
