Bio

Lynch joined the Chapman coaching staff in 2012 in charge of defensive backs. He was the head football coach at La Mirada High School from 2005-09 where he compiled a record of 38-20 in five seasons. In 2009 he guided the Matadores to the CIF championship and earned Coach of the Year honors from CIF, the Long Beach Press Telegram and Whittier Daily News. Most recently he served as the offensive coordinator at Buena Park High School the past two years. He has coached over 15 All-CIF players including former Utah OL and current pro John Cullen.

Lynch was a defensive back at Whittier College from 1998-01, playing for Coach Owens. He earned All-SCIAC honors twice and was an All-America track athlete for the Poets. He and his wife Jackie reside in Whittier.
