The family ties run deep in the James family, and it’s obvious. One of the reasons Garrett chose Chapman was for the opportunity to play for his uncle. And not only does Garrett always have the largest cheering section in the Hutton Center on game nights (filled with aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.), but he plans to pursue his career in the family business. Family and camaraderie was a big reason why Garrett earned the SCIAC’s Ducey Award for character and leadership this postseason.
