Haslam ends season with First Team recognition

ORANGE, Calif. – Junior Cam Haslam capped off a career-best season with a spot on the All-SCIAC First Team. This is Haslam's second First Team selection after being selected as the Athlete of the Year in his freshman campaign.

The guard led the SCIAC in scoring with 20.6 points per game against conference opponents. His 20.2 points per game in both conference and non-conference games is the second-most in Chapman's Division III history in a single season and the most since 2007.

The Seattle, Wash. native ranked fifth in the conference with an 81.5 free throw percentage in SCIAC games and ranked sixth with 40 three pointers made. His 35.6 minutes per game in conference game ranked fifth in the SCIAC.

Haslam tallied three 30-plus scoring games this season, highlighted by a career-high 42 points against Redlands earlier this month. His 42-point game was the most points scored in Chapman's Division III history and the fourth-most ever.

His career average of 19.3 points per game currently ranks as the highest average in school history with one year of eligibility remaining.
