Men's basketball earns at-large bid to NCAA Tournament

ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University men's basketball team is heading to the NCAA Tournament. The Panthers earned an at-large bid into the national tournament after a 22-4 season.

Chapman will head to Mary Hardin-Baylor for the First and Second Rounds of the Division III Men's Basketball Championship and take on UMHB in the first round. Game time and ticket information will be announced soon and will be accessible on ChapmanAthletics.com.

The Panthers are making their fifth appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship and first since 2016.

On the other side of the UMHB bracket is NWC champion Whitworth and SCAC champion Trinity. UMHB won the ASC championship to earn their spot in the NCAA Tournament.

The Panthers finished the regular season 22-4 but fell 76-74 in the SCIAC Tournament championship game to Pomona-Pitzer.
