Central coast beauty gives Panthers a tranquil feat

Chapman University men’s golfer Van Pierce claimed a share of third place at the conclusion of the three-day Cal Lutheran Kingsmen Invitational, held at the La Purisima Country Club, Sunday through Tuesday. Overall, the Panthers finished ninth in the tournament out of 15 schools.

Pierce ties for first with 3-under at Los Serranos

Chapman University men’s golfer Van Pierce claimed a share of first place with a 3-under 69 at Los Serranos Country Club on Sunday in the SCIAC’s third conference golf tournament of the season. The Panthers, playing in the tournament as an independent, placed sixth overall out of eight teams in the event hosted by Pomona-Pitzer Colleges.
