The Chapman University men’s golf team defeated visiting Pomona-Pitzer Colleges 307-355 at Tustin Ranch Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon, giving the Panthers their first win in three dual matches this season.

The Chapman University men’s golf team finished in 7th place overall at the SCIAC #4 golf tournament hosted by Pomona-Pitzer on Monday afternoon at Via Verde Country Club. It is the second-straight SCIAC match that Chapman has finished in 7th place.
Three Panthers finish with top scores in dual match vs. Cal Lu

For the second time this season, the Chapman University men’s golf team faced Cal Lutheran in a dual match, this time at Tierra Rejada Golf Club on Thursday afternoon. Unlike the dual match on March 1 at Tustin Ranch which Cal Lutheran won, all players in Thursday’s match set out as individuals and no team results were recorded.

Chapman University junior Chris Lungo captured first place at the first SCIAC golf tournament of the season on Sunday, finishing with an even par 72 to win at Red Hill Country Club, hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. The junior transfer from Saddleback College won by a stroke ahead of three others who were at +1.
