TUSTIN, Calif. – The Chapman University men's golf team shot a combined 301 at Tustin Ranch Golf Course in a dual SCIAC match with Cal Lutheran University on Tuesday in its second home match of the spring season.

Chapman was once again led by sophomore Bryan Wise who shot a team-best of 73 (1-over par) on the day. Wise improved his score from last season by three strokes, shooting a team team-best of 75 against Cal Lu at the same course last March.

The Panthers had three of the top four finishers on Tuesday. Senior captain Giovanni Chiappano placed second with a 74 (2-over par) and sophomore Kyle John finished fourth with a 76 (4-over par).

Chapman junior Nickolas Gates and sophomore Chuck Pedone finished fifth in a three-way tie with Cal Lutheran's Andrew McLean with a score of 77 (5-over par).
