Junior Bryan Wise made Chapman history as the first men’s golfer to earn All-SCIAC first team honors, the conference announced on Wednesday. Wise has led the Panthers squad in each of his three years on campus but is coming off his best season.

Golf finishes sixth in SCIAC Tournament

Junior Bryan Wise finished tied for tenth in the SCIAC Tournament to lead the Chapman University men’s golf team to a sixth place finish on Tuesday afternoon at Oak Valley Golf Club. The Panthers finished the tournament with a three day overall score of 912 (+48).

Men's golf moves up to sixth after day two of the SCIAC Championships

Freshman Griffin Tso continues to lead the Chapman University men’s golf team on day two of the SCIAC Championships. The Panthers moved into sixth as a team with a 23-over par score of 311. The Panthers sit 21 strokes back from first place California Lutheran.

Tso in eighth, men's golf in seventh after day one at SCIAC Championships

Freshman Griffin Tso continued his recent hot streak to lead the Chapman University men’s golf team on day one of the SCIAC Championships. The Panthers finished the day in seventh with an 18-over par score of 306 but are just 9 strokes back of second place in a tight field.

Wise leads men's golf in final Tri-Match

In the last match before the SCIAC Championships, junior Bryan Wise shot one-under par to lead the Chapman University men’s golf team in a tri-match with Cal Lutheran and Whittier. Wise was the co-medalist in the event with his fourth round of the year at even par or better.

Tso named SCIAC Male Athlete of the Week

Freshman golfer Griffin Tso made Chapman history last weekend and was rewarded with SCIAC Male Athlete of the Week honors. He fired a 3-under 67 on Sunday to climb into a tie for medalist at the SCIAC #2 Tournament. The freshman finished 1-over par in the tournament to become Chapman's first-ever medalist at a SCIAC event. He owns Chapman's second-lowest average at just below 77.3 strokes per round.

Tso first SCIAC Medalist for Chapman

Freshman Griffin Tso led the Chapman University men’s golf team to a fifth place finish at SCIAC No. 2 at the Anaheim Hills Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday. Tso finished tied for medalist becoming the first Chapman Panther to ever win a SCIAC event.

Junior Bryan Wise finished just two strokes behind the medalists to lead the Chapman University men’s golf team at the West Cup. The Panthers placed ninth out of 14 teams in the three-round event on Monday and Tuesday.

Three Panthers tie for top spot in Tri-Match

The Chapman University men’s golf team owned the top-4 spots, including three tied for medalist honors, at the Tri-Match in Whittier, Calif. on Thursday. Juniors Bryan Wise and Chuck Pedone, along with freshman Griffin Tso, tied atop the individual standings of the second of three Tri-Matches with Whittier and Cal Lutheran this year.

The Chapman University men's golf team opened the 2016 spring season by competing in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Tournament No. 1 at the Champions Course of Tukwet Canyon Golf Course in Beaumont.

The Chapman University men’s golf team shot a single-round low on Wednesday afternoon, defeating Hope International with a combined score of 291 at Tustin Ranch Golf Course. The Royals finished 13 strokes behind the Panthers with an overall score of 304.

Rookie leads men's golf to sixth place finish in fall tournament

Freshman Griffin Tso tied for seventh to lead the Chapman University golf team at the California State Intercollegiate. The Panthers placed sixth as a team but showed improvement in each round of the tournament carding a team total of 912 (+48).
