Tso ties for top spot in Tri-Match

ORANGE, Calif. – Senior Griffin Tso tied for the low round in the Chapman University men's golf team's tri-match against Cal Lutheran and Vanguard. The Panthers finished first, fourth, seventh, ninth and 12th in the 15-player event.

Tso was just one over par with a 73 in the one round match at Tustin Ranch Golf Club. He tied for the low round of the day with Vanguard's Tyler McDaniel. Junior Sian Rogers wasn't far behind on the leaderboard in fourth place overall. He fired off a 77 (+5).

Sophomore Brody Hval shot a nine-over 81 to tie for seventh and junior Ricky Hoefert was just a stroke behind in a tie for ninth. Senior Dallas Haun was 11-over par to round out the Panthers in the event, taking 12th overall.

Chapman will finish out the regular season with three big tournaments on the horizon. The Panthers head out to the West Cup Mar. 24-26 before the SCIAC #2 and SCIAC Championships in April.
