Chapman Athletics hosted another Town Hall on July 28 for student-athletes and their families to deliver updates and answer question on the impact of the cancellation of high-risk sports through the end of the school year.

In accordance with public health guidance and safety standards, as well as NCAA Resocialization recommendations, the SCIAC Presidents have unanimously agreed to cancel conference competition for NCAA categorized high-contact risk sports in the fall semester.
Chapman sets new high for SCIAC All-Academic selections

Nearly half of Chapman University student-athletes were recognized when the SCIAC released its annual All-Academic list today. Chapman set a new program high with 250 SCIAC All-Academic selections, far surpassing the previous high of 221.

The Chapman University men’s golf team finished fourth overall at the 6th Annual MJGA invitational in Las Vegas, Nevada. Freshman Bradley Lu led the Panthers with a top-10 finish.

In his Chapman debut, freshman Bradley Lu led the Chapman University men’s golf team at its first tournament of the spring. Four SCIAC teams met at Tukwet Canyon on Saturday and played through the rain at Tustin Ranch on Sunday.

The Chapman University men’s golf team competed in the Ottowa University of Arizona Fall Invite to round out its fall schedule. Senior Ricky Hoefert helped lead the Panthers, tying for ninth place overall as Chapman finished in fifth place of 11 teams.
Keating finishes under par at CA State Invitational

The Chapman University men’s golf team finished tied for fifth place in its opening tournament of the 2019 season. Junior Avery Keating led the pack at the California State Intercollegiate, tying for sixth place overall with a final score of 143 (-1).
