Golf to compete in SCIAC championship

ORANGE, Calif — Men's and Women's golf will compete in the SCIAC Championships at the Morongo Canyon Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon this weekend in Beaumont. The tournament kicks off on Sunday, Apr. 22 and will conclude on Tuesday the 24th.

Bradley Lu is leading the way for the men with an average score of 76 in his 14 rounds played this season. He comes in with a low score of 69 on the season. Lu also has a top-three finish on the season.

Among other golfers who have shot under par this season, Dylan Horowitz and Charlie Shumway sport average scores below 78. 

The women's golfers have been on fire this season as well, coming off an individual top-10 finish from Rachel Truong who shot a 158, which was good enough for eighth in the field. Kristen Lee also finished top-15 in the tournament with a 161, helping the Panthers to a fourth place finish.

For the season, Lee leads the team with an average round of 81.
