Men's and women's golf collect three top-10 finishes

CHINO HILLS, Calif — Chapman golf took to Los Serranos Golf Club in Chino Hills on Sunday and Monday to take on Occidental and La Verne in the Chapman Quad tournament.

Three Panthers placed in the top-10, two women and one men's golfer. Rachel Truong and Emily Cho placed second and fourth respectively, shooting five-over and 11-over. Truong was one of the two golfers to shoot both rounds sub-80, and posted the third-lowest score across the tournament.

Cho finished with an 80 in the first round and 79 in the second round.

On the men's side, Conner Conley continued his impressive start to his collegiate career with a one-over 149 to finish the tournament. In the final round, Conley jumped five places in the standings after shooting a two-under 72 at the par-74 course.

Bradley Lu finished just outside of the top-10 shooting three-over. Like Conely, Lu finished the tournament on a high note with a 72.

Golf will return to play in spring 2023 to continue its season.
