Braund earns All-West Region honors for second year
ORANGE, Calif. – Senior Elliott Braund was honored for the second year in a row with a United Soccer Coaches Third Team recognition. Bruand was a staple in Chapman's offense, helping the team to a third place finish and a SCIAC tournament berth for the fifth year in a row.
In his final season, Braund led the team and ranked tied for second in the SCIAC in goals with eight, tying his career-high from last year. The Winchester, England native started every game in the 2017 season. On top of his eight goals this past season, he also recorded one assist. The midfielder ended his Chapman campaign leading the Panthers with 17 points.
This is Braund's second consecutive All-West Region Third Team selection. He was also named to the All-SCIAC First Team for the second year in a row in the 2017 season.
