221 Panthers honored as SCIAC All-Academic

Chapman University’s student-athletes matched their record number with 221 SCIAC All-Academic selections in for the 2018-19 school year. The Panthers had the fourth-most selections of the nine schools in the SCIAC.

Two members of the Chapman University men’s soccer team earned United Soccer Coaches All-Region honors earlier today. Senior Kai Howe landed a spot on the Second Team while freshman Chandler Siemonsma garnered Third Team recognition.

Senior Kai Howe and junior Jonah Tipp earned First Team accolades while juniors Jarod Matteoni and Patrick Quinn were selected to the Second Team. Senior captain Nick Rooney was awarded the SCIAC Award of Distinction for his work on and off the field.
