Four Scholar-Athletes honored from men's tennis
TEMPE, Ariz. – Four members of the Chapman University men's tennis team were honored on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's list of Scholar-Athletes. Junior Brock DeHaven and senior Rasmus Helms each earned their third career Scholar-Athlete distinction.
The ITA recognized over 700 teams and 4,000 student-athletes for excellent work in the classroom. Student-athletes with a minimum of a 3.5 GPA were recognized as Scholar-Athletes while the ITA also gives academic recognition to teams with a 3.2 GPA or better.
A pair of freshmen joined Dehaven and Helms with the Scholar-Athlete distinction. Quinten Arrizza and Troy Manditch each earned the award after their first year on campus.
