Weekly SCIAC award goes to Wilkins

Chapman's Caleb Wilkins helped the Panthers secure a 5-4 SCIAC win over California Lutheran. The sophomore teammed with Harry Cohen and secured a hard-fought, 8-7 victory in No. 1 doubles, before Wilkins battled to a three-set, 7-5, 6-7 (8-10), 6-2 win in No. 1 singles for what proved to be the match-clinching point. 

Notable Performances
The Chapman pair of Mason Marks and Josh Blinder earned an 8-7 in No. 2 doubles, while Blinder also earned a win at No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-2. The Panthers also received a 6-3, 6-2 win in No. 6 singles play from Alex Granados. California Lutheran won at No. 3 doubles as the duo of Sean Yaghoubi and Charlie Spina won, 8-4. Corey Karen earned a three-set win at No. 2 singles (4-6, 7-5, 7-5), while Isaiah Volk (7-6, 6-3) and Darvel Lossangoye (6-2, 6-1) won in straight sets at No. 4 and No. 5 singles respectively.
