Mule named WWPA Co-Player of the Week

ORANGE, Calif. - Chapman water polo player Alex Mulé has been named Co-Player of the Week by the Western Water Polo Association. The junior led the Panthers to the program's first-ever win over a top-20 team - an 11-8 victory over No. 18 Cal Baptist in the Claremont Convergence Tournament and a 3-1 record on the weekend.

Mulé scored 13 goals, had 15 assists, five steals, and earned five ejections in the four tournament games. He had five goals in the upset win of Cal Baptist. This was also the first time in school history Chapman has beaten Cal Baptist. Mulé currently leads the nation (all divisions) in scoring average with 3.69 goals per game. He also ranks second in the nation with 48 goals this season.
