Mulé earns All-WWPA honors for second straight year

ORANGE, Calif. - Chapman University men's water polo player Alex Mulé has been named to the All-Western Water Polo Association team for the second consecutive season. The junior utility player was named honorable mention after he led the Panthers with 80 goals scored and led the nation in scoring average with 3.2 goals per game.

Mulé is Chapman's all-time leader in goals scored with 285 career goals. His 80 goals this season ranked sixth in the nation overall. He also added 20 assists, 40 steals and 29 earned ejections in 25 games. Mulé is a two-time NCAA Division III All-America selection in his first two years with the Panthers.

Chapman reached the WWPA championships for the first time since 1992 and tied a school record with 14 victories in 2008.
