WWPA names 22 Panthers to its All-Academic Team

ORANGE, Calif. – A total of 22 men’s and women’s water polo players from Chapman University have been honored by the Western Water Polo Association for their outstanding work in the classroom. Ten Panther men and a dozen women were named to the WWPA All-Academic Team for 2009-10.

Freshman G Taylor Roszkos led the way on the men’s side with a 3.59 grade-point average while majoring in digital arts. Meanwhile, sophomore driver Briana O’Keefe topped the women’s team with a 3.78 GPA in public relations/advertising.

The team consists of members who carried a 3.0 cumulative GPA and played in at least 50 percent of the team’s contests during the 2009-10 school year.
