WWPA names nine Panthers to its All-Academic team

ORANGE, Calif. – Three-time honorees junior utility Pierre Masson and senior utility Dominic Tornambe top the list of nine Chapman University men's water polo players that have been selected to the Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) All-Academic Team for the 2010-11 school year.

Masson (3.37 GPA in history) and Tornambe (3.12 in business administration) were among the team members who carried a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade-point average and played in at least 50 percent of the Panthers' games.

Sophomore goalie Taylor Roszkos (3.61 GPA in digital art), senior driver Mario Ruiz (3.50 GPA in integrated educational studies) and sophomore 2-meter Nainoa Watson (3.55 GBA in business administration) also became multiple award recipients, named to the team for the second year in a row.
