Parlee earns All-WWPA honorable mention

ORANGE, Calif. – After leading the Chapman University men's water polo team in goals (68) and steals (42) during the 2010 season, senior driver Chase Parlee has been named to the All-WWPA team, earning honorable mention. The teams were announced on Sunday at the conclusion of the WWPA Championships at Santa Clara.

In just one season at Chapman after transferring from Pepperdine, the senior has made a major impact becoming just the fifth Chapman player to make the All-WWPA team. Parlee played in 26 of the Panthers' 27 games and led the team in scoring on 16 occasions.

The Huntington Beach, Calif. native earned WWPA Player of the Week in October by scoring 14 goals over a four-game stretch during the Claremont Convergence Tournament. Parlee had a career-high six scores in a 13-9 win over La Verne in September at the Allred Aquatics Center.
