O'Brien lands spot on All-SCIAC First Team

ORANGE, Calif. – Another high-scoring season has landed All-SCIAC honors for junior Jeff O'Brien. The First Team honors were the first of O'Brien's career.

The junior center from Newport Beach, Calif., scored a career-best 59 goals in just 21 matches this year. He scored 35 of those goals in SCIAC matches, which ranked second in the conference. His 142 career goals rank seventh in school history.

O'Brien scored five goals in three matches this season and had multiple goals in 18 of the 21 matches he played in this year.

He earned All-America Honorable Mention last season after his first 50-goal season but added an All-SCIAC honor for the first time in his career this year. The Panthers finished the season in sixth place in the SCIAC standings and took sixth in the SCIAC Tournament.
