Hertel earns SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week 

ORANGE, Calif. - Junior goalkeeper Wesley Hertel was awarded the SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week after leading the Panthers to a 2-0 week in which they beat Cal Lutheran and Caltech. 

The Houston, Texas native posted 12 saves and three steals against the Kingsmen while blocking two shots and tallying three steals against the Beavers. Hertel also found the back of the net and dished out two assists against Caltech. 

The Panthers will look to Hertel as they host Whittier College on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 7pm.
