A record number of Chapman student-athletes earn SCIAC All-Academic
July 18, 2022
Chapman University student-athletes set a new school record with 281 individuals earning SCIAC All-Academic recognition. The 281 individuals to earn the annual academic recognition are 22 more than year’s record-breaking number. The SCIAC annually recognizes student-athletes who have been at their institution for at least one academic year and finished the school year with a 3.4 cumulative GPA or better.
Randolph earns All-America Honorable Mention

Freshman Nate Randolph added another award to his stellar freshman campaign with All-American Honorable Mention from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches. Randolph was Chapman’s leading scorer in 2021.
Randolph selected to All-SCIAC Second Team

Freshman Nate Randolph ended his first collegiate season with All-SCIAC honors. Randolph was the Panthers’ leading scorer in 2021.

The Chapman University men’s water polo team celebrated its seven seniors with a convincing 25-14 win over visiting La Verne on Saturday. The Panthers celebrated Senior Day before their final home match of the season.

Senior Andy Anguiano scored four goals but the Chapman University men’s water polo team fell 18-13 to Whittier on Saturday. Chapman dropped its third consecutive match and fell to 8-12 overall and 3-7 in the SCIAC.

The Chapman University men’s water polo team fell 21-12 to the visiting Cal Lutheran Kingsmen on Wednesday. Freshman Nate Randolph scored three goals to lead the Panthers.

The Chapman University men’s water polo team cruised to a 23-9 win over visiting Caltech on Saturday in the first game of its doubleheader. It was the Panthers’ third win in the last four matches.

The Chapman University men’s water polo team dropped a SCIAC match to visiting Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, 16-9. Freshmen Noah Baird and Everett Prussak, as well as sophomore Spencer Snow, each scored a pair of goals to lead the Panthers.

The Chapman University men’s water polo team picked up its first win of the season with a 12-10 victory over Redlands in a SCIAC match on Wednesday. For the Panthers, the third time was the charm after playing in a tightly contested match for the third time in a row.

The Chapman University men’s water polo fell 15-9 to the No. 1 ranked team in Division III, Pomona-Pitzer, on Saturday. The match was the SCIAC opener for both teams.

The Chapman men’s water polo team returns to the Allred Olympic pool to face Pomona-Pitzer on Sat., Sept. 18 at 11 a.m. After an unprecedented 2020-21 season, all nine men’s water polo teams return to the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) after a competition-lacking 2020 fall.
