Both swim & dive teams earn Scholar All-America honors

ORANGE, Calif. – Both Chapman University swimming & diving teams were recognized by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America as Scholar All-America teams for the fall semester. The biannual awards rewards collegiate swimming teams across the nation for their work in the classroom.

The CSCAA boasted that 547 teams from 354 colleges and universities earned the honor. In order to earn inclusion on the list, teams needed to post a minimum of a 3.0 team GPA for the semester. The Chapman women's team earned a 3.54 team GPA and the men posted a 3.15 team GPA in the Fall 2015 semester.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America -is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
