Toole wraps up regionals with sixth-place finish on 3-meter board

GRINNELL, Iowa – Freshman diver Kellyn Toole wrapped up her first trip to the NCAA Diving Regionals with a sixth-place finish on the 3-meter board. Toole scored a 404.90 on the second day on the regional championships in Grinnell, Iowa.

Last week, Toole won the 3-meter diving title at the SCIAC Championships by a narrow margin over Carli Lessard from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. In the regional championship, Lessard edged out Toole for fifth place.

Toole was the highest-placing freshman in the competition and improved on her placing from her eighth-place finish on the 1-meter board yesterday.

The freshman from Centennial, Colo. set both school diving records in her first year with the Panthers.
