Toole earns second CSCAA Scholar-America recognition
ORANGE, Calif. – For the second year in a row, standout diver Kellyn Toole has been recognized as a Scholar All-American by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. Toole earned the Honorable Mention recognition after a standout sophomore season.
The CSCAA annually honors all swimmers and divers who compete in their respective national championships with a GPA over 3.5 as Scholar All-Americans. Any swimmer with a 3.5 GPA and a "B" cut or diver who qualified for their regional meet earns Honorable Mention.
Toole qualified for regionals in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events after earning All-SCIAC in both events for the second year in a row. She also was honored on the SCIAC All-Academic list earlier this month.
The CSCAA announced a record number of swimmers and divers to earn the prestigious distinction this year.
