Toole takes fifth to wrap up regionals

SAN ANTONIO, Calif. – Junior Kellyn Toole ended the season with a career-best finish at the NCAA Division III Region 2 Championships on Saturday. Toole took fifth on the 3-meter board to headline the two-day competition for the Panthers.

Freshmen Simran Rajani and Simon Duyungan also wrapped up their respective seasons. In his first regional appearance, Duyungan took 11th on the 1-meter board with a 299.45. Rajani took 10th on the 3-meter with a 332.05.

Toole posted a 366.95 on the 3-meter board to climb into the top-5 at regionals for the first time in her career. Four seniors placed above Toole on the taller board but Toole was the highest finisher from the SCIAC.

The 2017-18 swimming & diving season officially comes to a close with the completion of regionals.
