Swim & dive teams earn academic distinction from CSCAA

ORANGE, Calif. – Both Chapman University swimming & diving teams have earned Scholar All-America distinctions from the Collegiate Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America. The team award marks the tenth semester in a row that both teams have been honored.

The women's team boasted a 3.42 team GPA while the men's team had a 3.32 team GPA during the spring 2018 semester. The CSCAA honors all collegiate swimming & diving teams with a GPA of 3.0 and higher in both the fall and spring semesters. In addition to strong GPAs in the classroom, both teams enjoyed unprecedented success in the pool with their highest respective finishes at the SCIAC Championships in school history.

Among all divisions of collegiate swimming, 710 teams representing 476 institutions were honored.
